Alan and Kate Bailey, Directors Creative Arts
work: 978-912-7616

Alan & Kate Bailey serve at CCF Haverhill as Directors of Creative Arts.

Both New England kids, Kate grew up on Cape Cod, while Alan grew up in rural downeast Maine. They both came to Boston for grad school and met at a small church in the North End. Alan received his call to ministry during this time and went on to teach music and worship leading at Northpoint Bible College for 7 years. Kate has a passion for missions and has served as a missionary through Lifegivers International as both curriculum designer and an instructor in the field.

While they are both new members at CCF (June 2018), they have had a heart for both CCF and Somebody Cares New England since 2012 when Kate started partnering with Pastor Marlene as they served on a local committee together. Alan and Kate said repeatedly through the years how much they would like to be under her leadership one day. They take inspiration daily from Christians like her who lay it all down for the Gospel, whose faith speaks through their sacrifice, and whose love speaks through their suffering, people like Brother Yun and Heidi and Roland Baker.

Alan and Kate moved to Haverhill with their two children, Simon and Sophie, from Tucson, AZ. And as much as they love Pastor Marlene, they didn't come to Haverhill for her. They came because God has given them a love and a passion for the people and city of Haverhill, and they are excited to see how He moves next.
