Care Minister, Ministry of Helps.
Where I am from:
I have lived in Methuen, MA most of my life and I was the oldest of 5 children.
I was a stay at home mom until children started going to college. I got my Real Estate license in 1981 and opened up a Century 21 office in 1985. After I sold to my partner in 1992, I went into retail sales managing, cosmetic, shoe and jewelry departments at JC Penny. Retired now I love to volunteer with CCF and Somebody Cares New England.
I received Jesus as my Lord and Savior in 1971 and through the years I have served as a Sunday School teacher to young ones, pre-teens, and young adults. I also served as a Trustee, Womens and Marriage Ministry leader as well as Missionette leader and ministering to the elderly in nursing homes.
How long have you been at CCF:
I have been happily serving since 2006. It has been wonderful!
Tell me about your family:
I was married in June 1962 to an amazing man of God, Kevin Moriarty, who has since went to be with the Lord. We have 3 children: Kevin, Jr; Cheryl Amabile, and Brian. They have blessed us with 8 beautiful grandchildren.
There have been many heroes in my life. My dearest ones are my husband Kevin (deceased) and children; Pastor Helen Wight, Pastor Marlene Yeo, and David Wilkerson (who was instrumental in introducing me to my greatest hero, Jesus Christ), Doug Stringer and Lou Engle
Favorite thing about Community Christian Fellowship Haverhill:
The unadulterated preaching of the Gospel is preached there and there is a genuine love and acceptence for all who choose to worship there.
Any song my daughter Cheryl Amable writes, thrills my soul! As well as Christian worship and Josh Grobin
Movie and books:
"The way we were" and most chick flicks
"I love you with an everlasting love"
